a little feng shui never hurt no one

i share an office with Katie who teaches interior design. needless to say, at any given moment there can be a number of fascinating books, projects and/or portfolios to take a look at. we stumbled upon this two days ago (it comes to us from a book titled The Western Guide to FENG SHUI: Room By Room). study it closely.

i, for one was convinced that we needed better feng shui in the office so yesterday after class i rearranged things. i moved the bookshelves, switched out the big ol' clunky '70s desk for a more streamlined one i found in the drawing studio (don't worry, permission was granted on everything that i nabbed), moved the computer so it wasn't up against the far wall, which consequently fixed the previous problem of having your back toward the door... you know, the basics. after all, as figures 4P and 4Q illustrate above, correct feng shui promotes good self-image and obviously therefore, success (we can deduct this by observing the gentleman's upgraded attire and a scheming expression). and who would argue with that guy?

temperatures rising!

wow guys! this is great. i have to admit i wasn't sure how the fanometer would go over but just look at the results! it rose not one, but two notches. i'm so way totally impressed. but let's not let the fire die. if we can do this, just imagine the dreams we could make into realities. i mean think about the family on Small Wonder - they had vision and made it happen...

i want more fans, we want more friends

this is my special place on the www. i mean when you think about it, it's kind of like my sock drawer. but the fact of the matter is, i and my trusty fans who make me feel better about life in general with every comment they post, would like to see the numbers grow. i know there are all sorts of blogs that people waste their time on, so why not mine? i'm interesting... i'm funny... i have everyday experiences. so what's it going to take? i could get my own fans/friends gauge that counts up and captivates us all. or maybe even a thermometer that gets hotter as more people come and share - give more of themselves. it could be inspirational! so what do you say, are you in? man! i'm gettin' pumped! lets do it!

cheese on a rope...

it's great because when you're done with the cheese, you still have a rope left - and it's waterproof.
